Recap – DC Eloqua User Group December 2015

We had a great time at the final DC Eloqua User Group meeting of the year on TuesdayView from Carr Workplaces, December 15!

The event featured several of our local modern marketing peers sharing their experience and goals with Eloqua. As the newbie Eloqua instance of the group, Carr Workplaces shared their successes within their first year, including using dynamic content to successfully market an 18 city event (Wow!), implementing processes to follow up on and win lost leads, and set up A/B testing for new offerings. They definitely have a great start on the path to marketing automation success!

We also heard from the dynamic marketing duo at GovLoop, who discussed their recent success in lead generation through referral campaigns with fun, shareable content. As a group, we discussed the importance of achieving certain milestones along the marketing automation journey, such as lead scoring, lead nurturing, and data management programs, as well as the value of revisiting the basics and revising goals as your marketing strategy evolves.

We also had time for two rounds of breakout sessions, including discussions on the hot topic of account-based marketing and the details of using custom data objects. A special thank you to Carr Workplaces for hosting the event and providing us with a great view of the city!
