Recap – DC Eloqua User Group November 2016

There is no doubt everyone walked away from this week’s DC Eloqua User Group armed with new information and new ideas to implement back at the office! The session started off with small group discussions ranging from most successful campaigns executed to biggest current Eloqua struggles.

Next, comScore presented the details of their 2016 Markie finalist submission for Digital Marketing Ecosystem.  They had a very impressive six system integration, including a homegrown Marketing Operations Helpdesk for the team to submit and manage marketing requests. The quote that drove the creation of their ecosystem: “You can’t manage what you can’t measure” – we can all feel that one!

Finally, Thamina Christensen, an Oracle Product Manager, joined us to share many exciting Eloqua features that are coming in the near and long term.  If you haven’t already seen it, there is a new visual email clickthrough report currently available upon request. Responsive Profiler and Mobile Engage, Profiler for Chrome (a Google Chrome plugin your Sales teams will love!) and Program Canvas general availability were just a few of the items coming out in the short term.  Some of the new exciting features that we will see in the long term, include the “new” Insight built on the Oracle BI tool, data visualization features, dashboards, integrations on Program Canvas and built-in responsive email. All of it makes us feel good about the progress Oracle is bringing to marketing automation and to the companies who subscribe to Eloqua!
