Oracle Eloqua User Group February 2020 Recap

Have you ever found yourself at a table with other smart people who like to geek out on the same topic as you – and then left with new ideas, feeling energized?  That pretty much sums up our February Oracle Eloqua User Group (EUG) session. A LOT was covered and SO much exciting and important information was shared. We will attempt to recap it here.

Eloqua-Salesforce Integration App

We were honored to have the Oracle Eloqua Product Manager of this new app on hand to answer questions! He gave everyone a kick start on how to go about the migration!  We have provided lots more information on this topic here.

Learn More: The Oracle Eloqua Product Team will be hosting a customer session specifically addressing what to expect when moving from the native Salesforce.com integration to the new app-based integration. The session will be recorded for on-demand viewing if you’re not able to attend:

Favorite (and most wanted) Eloqua Features

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon just a day after the EUG session, love was in the air for Eloqua features! The group “shared the love” for the ability to quickly create robust segments in Eloqua.  They also loved the speed and efficiency of program canvas compared to program builder, the new responsive editors, and the list goes on and on!

As for Eloqua feature requests, the EUG attendees provided some great ideas for making Insight more user-friendly and efficient, particularly about seeing multiple analytics in one view.

Another popular idea was to add page titles in browser tabs in order to identify what you’re working on IN Eloqua when you have multiple Eloqua tabs open!  And Wren gave us a sneak peak into some of the exciting new things coming in the May (20B) Release!

So happy together: the Eloqua and Datafox Relationship

Oracle announced the purchase of Datafox on October 22, 2018, a cloud-based artificial-intelligence (AI) tool for appending company data, and it is one of the more exciting acquisitions, as we have witnessed the power it provides to Eloqua users. With a strong integration and a wealth of data, both marketing and sales teams have an enhanced ability to communicate more effectively to target accounts.
