Have you optimized your mobile marketing strategy for the upcoming holiday season?
Now is the time to make sure your website and marketing materials are optimized for mobile shoppers. More and more consumers are using mobile devices for their shopping needs. According to a 2015 DirectBuy infographic “82% of smartphone users shop with mobile devices in 2015”, which as they noted represents 166.2 million people! And the expectation is that the mobile experience will only become more important for companies in the future. DirectBuy claims, “It is estimated that by 2020 user experience will surpass pricing and product as the main differentiator between brands.” One bad experience could cause a consumer to look elsewhere. Directbuy’s findings show that when shoppers encounter sites that are not optimized for mobile, they will typically search for another option to complete the task and they are 5x more likely to abandon the purchase.
