  • 72% of respondents felt that email communications and online promotions do not speak to their needs.
  • 78% of respondents agreed that they would be more likely to purchase from retailers again if they provided offers targeted to their interests, wants or needs.

For those of us interested in social or mobile marketing:

  • 71% of respondents are more likely to purchase from a retailer when provided with offers targeted to their location.

And finally, a surprising detail about social marketing:

  • 81% of respondents are willing to share an email ID with retailers, but only 16% would share a social ID.
